La Gazzetta dello Sport names the five Inter players expected to leave in the summer after winning the Scudetto this season.

Inter have been celebrating their 20th domestic title in history for a few days and are already looking towards the next season.

Gazzetta reports that the next two months will be the final ones at the Stadio Meazza for five players in the team. They are Alexis Sanchez, Juan Cuadrado, Stefano Sensi, Davy Klaassen and Emil Audero.

Five Inter players expected to leave after winning Serie A title

Sanchez, Cuadrado, Klaassen and Sensi see their contracts expire in June and Inter won’t offer them new deals. Sanchez practically confirmed his exit during recent Scudetto celebrations, wishing the club and his teammates good luck.

Cuadrado has been injured for most of the season and won’t remain at the club beyond the summer. Sensi, on the other hand, was already close to joining Leicester City in the January transfer window, and Inter had been prepared to part company with the Italian midfielder for several months.

The Serie A champions won’t activate a clause to extend Klaassen’s stay until 2025 as the Dutchman has only played 308 minutes across all competitions this term.

Only Audero hopes to remain beyond the summer even if Inter haven’t yet agreed to activate an option to sign him permanently from Sampdoria. The club’s priority is to sign Brazilian keeper Bento, but if they fail in their attempt, then Audero could remain at the club.
